No. Once youve answered the questions and you true house and wand have chosen you, then theres no changing it. The results are final.
Whats the difference between a Sub-Member and a Full-Member?
A Sub-member is someone who has joined the club, they can earn all the same points as the full-member can, they just have not created their Hogwarts character and do not have a dorm-room and belongings yet. You graduate to full member once youve created your own student character and placed him/her into a dorm space.
What are house points? (HP)
House Points are points you get for doing something good within the club, such as submitting a new artwork or completing homework, and they all add up between you and everyone else in your house to total as your Houses Points. At the end of each term/year the house with the most points wins the House Cup.
What are Personal Points? (PP)
Personal points are similar to house points, and they may be earned at the same time, but they are just for you. They can be used to purchase certain items from the club shop(such as a HP fan-bag), Commission an artist to draw your character/other club items for you, pay for the right to further your characters, obtain rare club items, etc.
Whats a Dorm Space?
A Dorm Space is the area in your shared dorm room that belongs to you. (Your bed and surrounding area) You may decorate this area however you wish/are able.
This should be 'Your Center' of the club, along with your House Journal.
What exactly are the Classes and whats their purpose?
The Classes are just that, a classroom like situation, where certain skills and subjects centered around the Harry Potter world/fandom are taught. Each Class is different, but they are all run similarly to a real class-room and all have some form of Homework assignments. The Purpose of these classes is to pass on skills and knowledge and to make sure that the club and the Hp fandom stays as active as possible.
What are the classroom rules?
Each Student member must regularly attend at least 2 different subjects/classes. Regular attendance means either; attending the class chat room, contributing in the official classroom discussions/activities, or completing the set homework at least once in every 3 months. If you do not keep to this amount of activity within the club without a good reason, then you will be failing and may face expulsion.
How do I submit artworks/fanfics to the club?
You simply write a note to the club with the subject: Submission and in it give us a link to the image/fic that you have submitted in your own DA gallery.
You may only submit 3 artworks/fics to the club that were created before you joined, so choose wisely.
PLEASE ALSO ADD in a LINK to your personal Dorm Space.
How do I submit my class homework?
You submit your homework the same way as you submit any other work, but you subject the note: ______ Homework putting the title of the class the homework belongs to in the space.
How come the recorded total of HP in the main journal/the total of PP Ive earned hasnt changed in the last few days?
Thats because its a big job to tally up all the house points that people earn, and we do it as often as we can, but that may only be once a week or so. Dont worry, all points earned will show up in time.
Why haven't i been Sorted Yet? i sent in a note a while ago
It takes an average of 10 minutes or more to Sort each new student, and with an average of 5 new applicants per day, you can understand that this is quite a time consuming job. you're note has not been forgotten. it is sitting in line with the rest of them. n__n so please be patient.
Am I allowed to have a pet?
Yes, when you first get your character drawn in your dorm room, you are allowed to have an Owl, a Cat, or a Toad/frog. You can get more exotic pets later if you earn up enough points to acquire them.
